my poetic drought, my scarcity,
comes to an end,
as words formed rhymes,
verses decanted,
onto the paper, that is my heart,

What is love?

one night, out of slumber,

      as my sleep broke out,

            I asked myself, looking at the sky above,

                  what is death?

                        if not the liberation of the soul?

                              freedom of the spirit?

                                    in a cage, of mud,

                                          blooming out to be free,

                                                but forbidden to escape,

                                                      unless, its the time,

                                                            unless its the invite,

                                                                  from the Creator,

                                                                        who banished, mankind,

                                                                                 from Heavens above,

                                                                                    to Earth, down below,

                                                                                          so that they,

                                                                                                redeem,

                                                                                                      &

                                                                                                         rectify,

                                                                                                               their actions,

                                                                                                                     & be free,

                                                                                                                           of the whisperer's

                                                                                                                                whispers

What is in love, what is not?

what's not in love?
  love, care, affection,
  agony, anguish, infatuation
one thing is guarantee,
  life is different,
  than before
no matter how you close,
  the doors to ye heart,
  love tends to sneak in,
pass the tiniest hole,
  gets under your skin,
  and beguiles you

Autumn & Spring

With passing day,
and shedding of leaves,
withering flowers,
and ending spring

a spring of love,
intimacy of heart,
passion within life,
now is begun

the autumn of sorrow
the timeless merry,
the joy of soul,
and the breaking of heart,

a story is to be wrote,
a heart has to shatter,
a love has to be lost,
only to look back,

an anguish to be sought,
an ail to be cured,
an ignorant heart,
lover's dilemma, at might

Blue Moon

'an orb that shined,
brightly,
in the dusky skies,
up in the skies,
yesternight,
the Blue Moon,
had us all,
in an awe,
A jewel,
that,
the skies wore,
embellishing,
the beauty,
of the night'

Perpetuity

with her spoken words,
       shivers does my world,
life around me, never,
       hath been beautiful, ever,
her dark locks of hair,
       waving here and there,
the particular sight,
       brought upon me night,
her orbs of sight,
       and darkness ends with light,
your'e silk carved, and
       you not with me, I'm empty hands,
my anguish is my misery,
       fruitful as if delicacy,
restless, I go, night every,
       longing the togetherness of we,
words spoke less of mine,
       heart full, love of thine
we be together, perpetuity,
       even if it owes, world's enmity

Besotted Thee

"A letter she wrote to me,
  her love she professed to me,
how mad were in love, we,
  as I read the letter to me,
eyes sobbed, shedding tears, were she,
  asking questions from me,
"how ruthless, were thee,
  how did you leave, your besotted thee?
  how stubborn, are thee,
  why not reach me?
  why run away, from me?
  your besotted thee"

life without thee,
  how should I make believe me,

Broken Glasses

Broke my glasses,
and lot seems fading,
as if a veil,
covered the eye,
blurred the sight,
I could see naught,
unclear images,

let your hearts sink,
for you may love once,
let your thoughts evolve,
for your thoughts can't be caged
let your pen write,
for your words are mighty
let your story be taught,
for your misery is enchanting
let your words come together,
for your sorrow is a story,

let your curse be lifted,
for your relief needs to be felt

Naught

naught does separate us

why I write..

I write not to seek any attention
my words come straight from the heart,

I write to pen you down,
your memories, your soul & your body,

I write so that they can see and know you,
through my eyes, thoughts, and poetry,

I write to keep you alive through my words,
so they may forget me but never forget you

Full Moon

Full moon, the beauty it carries
the way it illuminates the land

it brings back a lot of memories,
your face share a resemblance

your face illuminated my world
just as the moon does

Now my world is in dark, without light
no light, no person can illuminates

such was thy presence in my life
it made the heart dance, swivel, rejoice

Just how a full moon fades the next day
our time was limited, yet fascinated,

and then came a day of segregation,
and you faded just as the full moon

never to look back, never to be back
wherever you are, all I wish is well

you illuminate somebody else's world
not for disunion but forever and ever

I feel falling myself,
over and over again,
in love with thee,

as I sat to write poetry,

when thy heart ll weep,
and the slumber, long gone,
as if a garden forlorn,
you used to dwell carefree,
now, life seems messy,
you feel not you anymore,

Recreate, Nurture the Lost Love

Let's recreate,
what we had lost,
the life, the story,
the tale, we begun,
it is time to carry,
carry it to the end,
rebuild from where left,
whatever we had lost,
will come back,
once and for all,
it will come back,
ascertained I am,
all you got to do,
is to believe,
in me, in us,
and in yourself,
all you got to do,
is to be loyal,
towards me, towards us,
towards the love we have,
Love me, and I promise,
on my life, on this love,
that we have grown,

How to behave

Words to be chosen,
                           wisely
told to behave, 
                           nicely,
handle the hearts,
                           gently,
never to act,
                           rapidly,
to make decisions,
                           calmly

there is a way of doing things,
                           properly,
whether you like it, whether not,
                           respectively
all these teachings, ruined the childhood,
                           truly,
But don't lose the heart, 

things will change with the passage of time,
                           accordingly

What is Sorrow

What is sorrow?
      a feeling hollow,
where,
senses go dumb,
      mind's gone numb,
where,
heart's gone forlorn,
      as if flower torn,
when,
appears, sudden blackening,
      feeling heart drowning,
when,
emotions seem fading,
      & the joy sinking

Mother's Love

Mother's warmth of love,
      what can match her pure love,
her love for her child,
      no matter how old I be,
no matter, how tall I grow,
      I will still be a mere child,
in her eyes, I am her child,
      still and always will be her child

The night brings such peace to heart,
The pulchritude of darkness
The life it gives to nature's comfort

Her voice is like a thunderstorm
It  doesn't frighten me

its the same as day,
only the light is away,

stars are present up in the sky,
forming constellations amusing the eye,

Moon shows up with a smile,
as if a bride in white, walking the aisle,

the beauty of night is delight,
with nature's beauty on offer
makes me want to write

the serene peace it has to offer,

As my mind enriches and dwells in your thoughts,

I endeavor on an attempt to turn your thought to ash,

As I lit my cigarettes, which I have for the purpose bought,

I love the thought of setting your memories aflame,

Love is a beautiful emotion, that's what people say,

Most dothn't unravel the true meaning, pain what it be may,

Decipher, the sorrow hidden in the destinies of adored ones,

For seeing the sweetheart be someone else's is hurting enough

Heal the ailing of heart,
With the warmth of love,

As it falls to the ground, it illuminates
