What is sorrow?
      a feeling hollow,
where,
senses go dumb,
      mind's gone numb,
where,
heart's gone forlorn,
      as if flower torn,
when,
appears, sudden blackening,
      feeling heart drowning,
when,
emotions seem fading,
      & the joy sinking

the night is dark the night is calm
its the same as day,
only the light is away,

stars are present up in the sky,
forming constellations amusing the eye,
that glitter the world from up high,

Moon shows up with a smile,
as if a bride in white, walking the aisle,
every full moon night is a worthwhile,

the beauty of night is delight,
with nature's beauty on offer
makes me want to write

the serene peace it has to offer,
the joy of silence it brings to heart,
the way it puts forward God's artistry
