Rain

It's monsoon & clouds pour showers. 
As it falls to the ground, it illuminates 
the rain drops begin to look as if crystals,
breathing beauty in everything nearby

your poetry, she whispered

Who are you? again I asked,
your words set in a rhythmic motion, she gestured

Where are you? I inquired,
I dwell on your thoughts, she mumbled

When did you come? I interrogated,
in your dreams when you were asleep, she discoursed

How did you happen to be? I asked again,
your words drew a poetic sketch of me, she whispered into heart.

Your love is like a curse to me,
cursing me for an eternity,
Your love is like remedy to me,
curing me of all ailments,

as you are the cure, you are the pain,

Your love is like an ocean to me,
I fear my heart drowning to depths,

setting my heart dance to every beat,

purifying my soul with the light,

'Tis not me who failed, rather, the lack of faith,
that shivered the bond, a consequence of parting ways,

decided never to look back, or delve into another heart,
Faith couldn't be more cruel, taking the life away yet leaving alive,
